What is CrossFit?

Simply put it is training “Constantly Varied, Functional Movements at a High Intensity”

In Other Words…
Learn to move your body in as many different ways as possible that life requires, at an intensity that forces your mind and body to adapt, and therefore maximizing bodily function whilst minimizing risk of becoming sick or decrepit individuals!

What does CrossFit R.A.D. stand for?

Resilience, Adaptability and Discipline.

Coming from a background of sports and all the injuries that come with it, lead me to find Exercise Rehabilitation as a vocation! Having worked in this field it highlighted how as a population we struggle to get through everyday life physically and mentally!
Our programming aims to improve lifelong wellness, independence and performance by challenging you to learn resilience, adaptability and discipline, firstly in your training, then applied in all aspects of life!

So what do we do in our classes?

Using a variety of movements that draws from Olympic lifting, power lifting, gymnastics, cardio modalities and sports specific training, we create safe and effective programming with the aim to nurture holistic fitness, health and lifelong independance by improving the following:

  • Stamina

  • Cardiovascular Fitness

  • Power

  • Flexibility

  • Strength

  • Speed

  • Coordination

  • Agility

  • Balance

  • Accuracy
